PNG Australian Health Network (PAHN).
INVITATION FOR NGOs ENGAGING IN HEALTH PROJECTS IN PNG
Bush Dokta invites you to join our community of small and grassroots NGOs/Foundations/Charities working in Papua New Guinea. The PNG Australian Health Network (PAHN) is an online community of like minded groups, working together to improve health outcomes in Papua New Guinea.
Often it is discovered too late that a similar group has been working in a close location, was transporting equipment to PNG with spare transport room, or had extra donations they wanted to get to PNG for use. Bush Dokta wants to change this! Currently, there is no publicly available database to see small NGOs working in the health space, to allow us to come together as community, collaborate, and increase the health benefits to the PNG community. PAHN will address this deficit..
What’s in it for your group?
This completely free resource will provide the NGO with:
Free advertising and promotion on a centralized, searchable webpage of NGOs
Mechanism to collaborate with your peer NGO groups on project
Professional development opportunities
Knowledge of current small NGO news and events
Ability to grow your NGO in a supportive community
Ability to learn from and teach others in you industry
What will happen once you sign up?
Group details will be published on the public database, alongside their colleagues.
A fortnightly email will be sent out in dot point format outlining: new members of the PAHN, health professional development opportunities, new resources Bush Dokta has available, or any other info member have asked us to share with the community.
Member are able to share news, ask questions or share opportunities through our fortnightly letter.
How can I collaborate with my peers on PAHN?
If the member consent to their contact details being shared PAHN is happy to provide introductory services if there is another member you with to be in contact with.
During the fortnightly newsletter you can ask other members to contact you
PAHN will establish a social media facebook private closed-page for those members with social media who wish to collaborate in that forum
What are my obligations now I’m signed up to PAHN?
Nil, nada, nothing, zero! PAHN is simply an umbrella organisation to provide the opportunity for great collaboration and increased effectiveness.
If I don’t like it can I leave?
You can leave at any time by submitting a request in writing to bushdokta@projectyumi.com and we will remove your organisation within the fortnight.
